Katherine Holmes BA (Hons). Rotherham
Teacher of Violin,Folk Fiddle, Viola, Piano, Electric Keyboard, Music
Theory and Recorder.
Having gained my degree in music in 1987 I have been teaching ever
since, both in the UK and abroad. My pupils range from beginner to
advanced, from 4 year olds to adults. I have taught in schools (primary
and secondary/state and private sectors), both groups and individuals.
I use a wide range of teaching aids and tutor books, as well as
arranging music using the Sibelius music writing package.
I provide piano accompaniment for exams. The two main examining boards I
use are the ABRSM and the LCM.
At present I teach from home in Rotherham and charge £10 per half hour
lesson. The lessons can be for small groups (2/3) or one to one, and
there is no need to book a block of lessons in advance, simply pay by
the lesson. Tuition can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly and half an
hour or an hour.
Feel free to e mail or ring (01709 533600) for further information.
